ACU Star Championship V's Dunlop/Aprilia Superteen Challenge

What's the differences between the ACU Star Championship and the Aprilia Superteens?

Well the Aprilia Super teens is run by the MRO, it has been running for several years now, very successfully might i add and has seen some of the best young talent spring boarded into the limelight because of it in the likes of such riders as Chris Jones. Up until recently the series has been televised but sadly this may not be the case this year. The superteens with it's strict engine modifications and control tyre situation made it a level playing field ensuring rider talent was the predominant factor in winning not the size of your race budget.

The ACU Star Challenge is the new competition run by the ACU. It boasts three classes namely the Formula 125, GP125 and The 6oo Stock sport all aimed at bringing on the new riders of tomorrow. All classes have strict limited restrictions on bike modifications again to keep down cost and create a level playing field. The ACU however have managed to go even further, all the entrants to all three classes will benefit from extra off the track assistance with such things as advice on bike setup, sports psychology, riding techniques and for those good enough to enjoy having the paparazzi following them , advice  with media coverage. However that's not all, these riders are all competing for the chance to win a new machine.
