Ben's TZR Ben's TZR125RR Well what can we tell you except it isn't standard. These results are after putting it on Hobbsport's dyno. Rear axel weight 248lbs total weight 496 lbs max power at 11325 revs is 30bhp exactly at the back wheel although will rev to 12000rpm. Running with a 16 front sprocket and a 45 back we managed a top speed of 80 mph. But THERE'S MORE Since then a new ram air system has been added. New sprockets have been made a 17 and a 18 front with the ability of adding a 41 rear sprocket so for all you budding mathematicians work out that top speed. New pipe to be added shortly with an added approximately 500rpm (more ponies). Out of interest if you wish to compare this against a car then look at the following: bhp divided by weight (kg) multiplied by 1000 gives a true power to weight ratio. Bens bike 112.5 kilo 34.3bhp at the flywheel ('cos' that's how they measured the other examples) TZR 125 RR power to weight 34.3 / 112.5 x 1000 = 304 bhp/tonne Ferrari F355 GTS. V8 3.5 litres 1996-380 bhp- 1422kg-267 bhp/tonne Porsche Carrera Flat six 3.6 1997 - 285bhp (Race Prepared) - 1380kg - 207 bhp/tonne
GOLF GTI ????? bag of shite.....don't embarrass yourself by trying. New mods June 2005 not telling you what but got another 1000 revs an' we ain't put the new pipe on yet.
